The Family Campaign

A cozy record of our weekend adventures, chaotic dice rolls, heroic decisions, questionable plans, and the small legends we are making around the table.

Campaign Notes

Our adventure began on the road to Phandalin, where the party had been hired by Sildar and Gundrin to deliver a wagonload of cargo. What should have been a simple escort job quickly turned suspicious when the group discovered two riderless horses blocking the forest trail.

The company is still learning how to trust one another. Between Huntrix the Paladin, Llywella the Rogue, Lilith the Druid, and Bishop the Mage, there is already plenty of courage, chaos, and questionable decision-making at the table.

Session Log

Session 1: The Road to Phandalin

Our adventure began at the edge of a large wood. The company had been tasked by Sildar and Gundrin with bringing a load of cargo to the port city of Phandalin. The duo had gone ahead on horseback to prepare for our arrival, leaving the party to guide the wagon along the forested trail.

The party consists of Huntrix, the Paladin; Llywella, the Rogue; Lilith, the Druid; and Bishop, the Mage. From the start, there was tension among the adventurers and very little trust. The dragonborn in particular was not interested in playing nicely. But with our sturdy Paladin leading the way, the company pressed onward.

Suddenly, we came upon two horses standing in the middle of the road, with no riders in sight. Suspicious. Huntrix investigated first, slowly making her way toward the horses, when three goblins sprang from the bushes.

A trap!

We engaged in battle with limited success at first. At one point, our dragonborn, who has great animal husbandry, steered the oxen and cart directly into our Druid while attempting to run over the goblins. Despite this setback, the party managed to overcome the three fiends.

Best moment: The dragonborn weaponizing the ox cart and accidentally flattening the Druid instead of the goblins.

Session 2: Trouble Finds the Party

Write what happened in the second session. You can update this after every weekend.

Best moment: Add the table quote or chaos moment here.
