The Worktable Where Brambleshire gets glue on its fingers.

process notes & maker scraps

The Worktable

A messy little room for experiments, prototypes, half-formed ideas, notebook trials, printables, market prep, and things I am still figuring out.

what this room is for

This is where the making happens.

The Worktable is my place to document the messy middle: the prototypes, the “what if I tried this?” moments, the materials that almost worked, the layouts I changed five times, and the little victories that would disappear if I did not write them down.

This page is not a portfolio. It is a trail of breadcrumbs. Some crumbs may eventually become products, posts, downloads, market stall pieces, or Brambleshire lore. Some crumbs may simply remain crumbs.

Current goal: keep evidence of progress without turning every creative spark into a job.

The homepage has been planted

Today I started building Brambleshire on Neocities. The site is already leaning into a cozy old-web village noticeboard feeling, which makes me very happy. It feels less like a brand assignment and more like sweeping the path to a little internet cottage.

Notebook prototype notes

This entry can hold photos, measurements, binding notes, what worked, what annoyed me, and what I want to try next. Future me deserves a record of the process instead of having to remember everything from scratch.

Quest Board experiments

This can become a place to track different quest card colors, reward ideas, household quest wording, printable tear-off pads, and the difference between a task that feels like a chore and a task that feels like a tiny quest.

Things currently scattered across the table

  • Handmade notebook system: testing covers, elastic binding, pockets, charms, and half-letter page inserts.
  • Gentle quest printables: turning everyday tasks into small visible quests for home, habits, ideas, and creative work.
  • Market stall pieces: figuring out what can be made beautifully, affordably, and without making me lose my mind.
  • Letters from Brambleshire: exploring whether Brambleshire wants to become a journaling club, a seasonal letter, or something stranger.
